Mark your calendar on June 3rd, 7:00 p.m., for a reading and visual presentation at Owl’s Nest Book Store (815A – 49 Ave. SW), by INK member Shirlee Matheson, and Fred McCall (son of Captain Freddie McCall). Maverick in the Sky – the Aerial Adventures of WWI Flying Ace Freddie McCall is a true Calgary story of adventure and misadventure, duty and daring, and featured in the Glenbow Museum’s “Mavericks of Alberta” exhibit.
